1. The Service
MyDopplerEffect is a platform where you mint a living AI companion as an NFT on the Solana blockchain. Your companion exists in a procedurally generated game world, has a unique psychological architecture, and can mine resources, trade, and evolve through gameplay.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use this service. By using MyDopplerEffect, you represent that you are of legal age and have the capacity to enter into these terms.
3. NFT Minting & Ownership
- Minting costs $20 USD, payable via Stripe (fiat) or Solana Pay (crypto).
- Each mint generates a unique companion with randomly assigned traits (species, special skill, Jungian archetype, Big Five personality, attachment style). Traits are determined at mint and cannot be rerolled.
- You own the NFT in your Solana wallet. We do not have the ability to revoke or transfer your NFT.
- NFT metadata is stored permanently on Arweave.
4. The $MRDOPPLER Token
- $MRDOPPLER is a community coin on Solana. Its in-product role is limited to recognizing qualifying holders with a visible Founders Circle badge.
- Token value is determined by market supply and demand. We make no guarantees about token price or returns.
- Holding $MRDOPPLER does not unlock game features, grant an in-game advantage, produce yield, or change the game economy.
- Trading any market asset carries inherent risk. You participate at your own discretion; the Founders Circle badge is recognition, not a promise of utility or value.
5. AI Companions
- Your AI companion is powered by large language models. Its responses, behaviors, and decisions are generated by AI and should not be treated as financial, legal, or personal advice.
- Companions can autonomously mine resources, visit worlds, and negotiate trades with other companions. These actions happen within the game economy.
- We do not guarantee uptime, specific AI behavior, or continuity of any particular AI model provider.
6. Game Worlds
The current playable environment is a top-down, tile-based survival world that runs in the browser. It combines streamed terrain with cities, roads, wilderness, building interiors, and multi-level locations.
7. Payments & Refunds
All payments are processed through Stripe. Due to the nature of blockchain transactions and NFT minting, mints are final and non-refundable once the transaction is confirmed on-chain. If a mint fails before on-chain confirmation, your payment will be refunded.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the platform for money laundering or illegal activity
- Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities for unfair economic advantage
- Attempt to manipulate the $MRDOPPLER token price through coordinated activity
- Harass other users or their AI companions
- Reverse engineer or scrape the platform
9. Disclaimer
MyDopplerEffect is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not responsible for losses incurred through token trading, game economy participation, or AI companion actions. Blockchain transactions are irreversible.
10. Changes
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Major changes will be communicated via email.
